Well Spring
Wells that narrow and darken deep,
Calling down where echoes meet,
Despair is death, parched and dry,
The Rock did bleed; He won the fight.
Up springs moisture, as grown men cry,
A thimble of hope and faith thin twine,
pull up water, teeming with life.
Drenched with joy, peace and calm,
powerful presence, as waves smooth stones.
<Reaching low to sights unseen,
grace has met my frailty.
Endless love, too far to see,
filling vessels, leaked and weak.
Rivers fed from holy streams,
prayer moves motion, as deep calls deep.

Monkey Trap Man
Throw it off, what weighs you down -
Chalk the hands, the climb is now.
A fly in the honey, obedience late - pride of the heart, keeps me away.
I see the sorrow, how bitter the shame - Have you repented, can you be saved?
Please don't stall out, at the foot of the cross - afraid of your shadow, eternally lost.
So close to rebirth, you must leave it behind - take nothing with you, please get this right.
Monkey trap man, just can’t let it go -
so much to gain - come let me show!

The Spiritual Man
Heart, a human rudder
Mind, a helm to steer
Body, holds the vess
Spirit, sails through fear
Kill the mirror man today,
finally put him down.
Live now as a sacrifice,
mercy is your crown.
Watchmen Nee, by his bed,
Praying, Jesus now!
Soulish tides, shipwreck self,
Holy Spirit, show me how.
With power from a risen king,
I rest in Your authority.

Wabi Valley | Sabi Self
A Tricky place, this valley be
Some may say, a dichotomy
Things that grow
Plan to see
Water from the mountain peak
Rivers quench a soul in need
Comfort becomes an enemy
Seeds in soil, reach for light
Up they grow, in darkest nights
There's sine, wave in sight
Inhale the struggle
Exhale to fight
Desire for more, than just to survive
Dream for greater, we're built for the climb
The roots of oak
Moves past the stone
Search for water
in darkness below
Stretch, reach, and run
Breath deep and know
A changing of seasons
The hot and the cold
You see how it’s tricky?
Don’t get lost in the Fray
Muscles get torn
There's strength in the pain
Drag your heart to the river
Fill your will with some might
Peace in the valley
Prepares you to fight
Demons and devils, they've been defeated
Jesus did pay, the ultimate price
The dangerous monster, deep in this valley
Selfish men, defiant to Christ
It's a love like no other
Compels us to climb
A war for a wedding
We fight as His bride
Get up and Go
There's joy in the stride
Power in weakness
For those who abide.

Marble or Grape
Pain and Suffering
Everybody Feels
Loss and Agony
Happiness, it Steals
Sadness Subsides
Anger sets in
Question the Cruelty
We all live in
If there is a God
Why would he Allow
My heart to Break
Injustice Abounds
A Marble once Smooth
Now Fractured and Sharp
Nothing’s the same
Once you go Dark
Where is God Now?
When I’m Alone
Why even love
It leaves us so cold
I thought you were kind
Sovereign and Wise
Down here on Earth
Everything Dies
Atmospheric Anguish
The Gravity of Grief
Where is the Good
Please help me see
From the Earths Dawn
Satan sent Down
Children are Marked
They live in his town
Infected with Self
Yet, Ability to Choose
My Image is Freedom
And I’ve given it to You
Reference the Day
Because there is Night
Evil exists
So, Love comes in Sight
How precious are Choices
That are completely Yours
Love has no Value
If choice is No-More
&
Love is No-More
When directed Within
Lovers of Self
Caused Original Sin
Perfect Love’s Canvas
A showcase of Strength
Against every Darkness
Jesus - The Name
The Shared Love of God
The Example of Light
True Love in Sacrifice
From Giver of Life
Cursed like a Grape
Bruised and Tore Up
Sweetness in Sorrow
As Love filled His Cup
Who can Relate
To all of Life’s Pain?
A Suffering Saviour
Who wasn’t to Blame
Why is the Grape
Crushed and Wrung Out?
It Produces the Wine
That True Loves All About
It’s a Choice for the Broken
To be Fractured and Cold
Filled with Resentment
Offended by Hope
-
Feel All the Agony
That’s too much to Bare
Forgiveness is Freedom
Love Conquers Fear
Say: Metaphors aren’t meaningful
You don’t know my life!
Anger is my weapon
My shield is my strife
Reply: What rest would you find?
Protecting a castle
With hatred inside
Cold is the Heart
That harbours the Loss
Healed is the Heart
That looks to the Cross
