Contrary to common understanding regarding the heart, it’s motives aren’t always virtuous. Follow your heart is often taught, but it leads people into all sorts of pain and problems. God, help me align my hearts with Christ’s character, and drag it to the place where it can become a tool to serve, rather than a tool for self.
