Well Spring
Wells that narrow and darken deep,
Calling down where echoes meet,
Despair is death, parched and dry,
The Rock did bleed; He won the fight.
Up springs moisture, as grown men cry,
A thimble of hope and faith thin twine,
pull up water, teeming with life.
Drenched with joy, peace and calm,
powerful presence, as waves smooth stones.
Endless love, too far to see,
filling vessels, leaked and weak.
Rivers fed from holy streams,
prayer moves motion, as deep calls deep.

Monkey Trap Man
Throw it off, what weighs you down -
Chalk the hands, the climb is now.
A fly in the honey, obedience late - pride of the heart, keeps me away.
I see the sorrow, how bitter the shame - Have you repented, can you be saved?
Please don't stall out, at the foot of the cross - afraid of your shadow, eternally lost.
So close to rebirth, you must leave it behind - take nothing with you, please get this right.
Monkey trap man, just can’t let it go -
so much to gain - come let me show!

The Spiritual Man
Heart, a human rudder
Mind, a helm to steer
Body, holds the vessel
Spirit, sails through fear
Kill the mirror man today,
finally put him down.
Live now as a sacrifice,
mercy is your crown.
Watchmen Nee, by his bed,
Praying, Jesus now!
Soulish tides, shipwreck self,
Holy Spirit, show me how.
With power from a risen king,
I rest in Your authority.
