Well Spring

Wells that narrow and darken deep
Calling down where echoes meet
Despair is death, parched and dry
The Rock did bleed; He won the fight

Up springs moisture, a grown man cries
A thimble of hope and faith thin twine, pull up water, teeming with life
Drenched with joy, peace and calm, powerful presence, as waves smooth stones

Reaching low to sights unseen, grace has met my frailty
Endless love, too far to see, filling vessels, leaked and weak
Rivers fed from holy streams, prayer moves motion, as deep calls deep

The Spiritual Man

Heart, a human rudder
Mind, a helm to steer
Body, holds the vessel
Spirit, sails through fear

Kill the mirror man today, finally put him down
Live now as a sacrifice, mercy is your crown

Watchmen Nee, by his bed, Praying, Jesus now!
Soulish tides, have shipwreck self
Holy Spirit, show me how
With power from a risen king, I rest in Your Authority
